Fighting Game Heavy Character Animations | Rift City Rebels

Here are some of the animations I created for my class's capstone project, a platform fighting game called Rift City Rebels! I was mostly involved with our two heavy-weight characters: Kaos and Warden. Both of them posed interesting challenges for animating in their own ways, being characters with very exaggerated proportions, and I'm happy with the work I did. The gameplay animations were all done by hand, and I had a lot of fun recording and editing motion capture footage to create some characterful victory animations. Many thanks to my classmates Jyotsna and Takkaya for modelling these two and letting me bring them to life!
